VILLA LOMPOLO BOOKING CONDITIONS
General
The customer can book Villa Lompolo through Destination Lapland, in which case the booking conditions of Destination Lapland apply. The customer can also make a direct booking using the contact form on www.villalompolo.com or by email to villalompolo@gmail.com. Booking conditions for direct bookings take effect immediately after booking. The booker must be of legal age.
Booking and payment
After booking, the booker will receive a confirmation and invoice via email. Along with the invoice, Booking Conditions and driving instructions to the rental property will be sent. The prepayment (30% of the full rent) is due 7 days after the booking and the balance 30 days before the start of the rental period. If the rental period is less than four (4) weeks from the time of booking, the full amount is due as one payment. Failure to pay the invoice is not a cancellation.
Cancellations
Cancellations must always be notified by email to villalompolo@gmail.com. The cancellation is considered to have taken place at the moment when the information about the cancellation has reached the above-mentioned e-mail. If canceled up to 30 days before the date of arrival, advance payment will be charged in full. Full rental will be charged for cancellations less than 30 days before the start of the rental period if the property cannot be further rented. If the booking is canceled due to the sudden illness, accident or death of the booker or his / her close relatives, the booker is entitled to a refund of the amount paid deduced with a cancellation fee of EUR 100.00. The reason for the cancellation must be provided with a medical certificate or other reliable statement to the landlord . If the booker changes the booking time, this will be treated as a new booking and cancellation of the previous booking.
Landlord ´s right to cancel the reservation
In case of force majeure, the landlord can cancel the reservation. The booker is then entitled to a full refund of the rent paid. The landlord has the right to cancel the reservation if the advance payment or the balance of the rent has not been paid by the due date or after a reminder (by e-mail, telephone, etc.) within five days. In this case, the landlord or broker has the right to charge the entire rent if the property cannot be further rented.
Delivery and use of keys
The rental property is available to the booker from the day of arrival at 6 PM to the day of departure at noon, unless otherwise agreed. When the rent has been paid in full, the booker will receive the necessary information from the landlord to collect the key from the rental company's office. If the service company is ordered to open the door, the booker is responsible for the resulting costs. The actual cost of replacing the locks and replacing the new keys will be charged to the booker in case of lost key.
Stay in a rental property
Upon arrival at the rental property, please read the guest information, which provides important additional information about the property's equipment and facilities, as well as your stay at the property. Smoking inside is prohibited. Pets must be agreed separately with the landlord.
The rental property must not be used by more people than stated at the time of booking. The maximum number of people in the destination must not be exceeded without permission. The use of a motorhome or caravan or rental services (eg a bath tub) is prohibited in the area of the rental property without permission. Charging an electric or hybrid car at the rental location is not allowed, instead charging points in the Jouni´s store area are recommended.
Damages and complaints
The booker is obliged to compensate the landlord for any damage caused to the rental property or its furniture. Remarks related to the equipment or condition of the rental property must be addressed to the landlord immediately after they appear. If the subject of the remark cannot be fixed during the booker's stay, the complaint must be returned in writing at the end of the booking period or during it for further processing.
